Requesting Telephone Advice From The Doctor
There may be occasions when you would find it helpful to receive telephone advice from the doctor. If possible please contact the surgery before 12 noon if you wish to request telephone advice. Requests received after this time may have to be dealt with the following day.
When requesting a telephone call, please give the receptionist as much information as possible, including whether you need to speak to the doctor that day or if it can wait until the next day. The doctor will ring you back at the end of his/her surgery – please note that it is not appropriate to interrupt the doctor with telephone calls when he/she is in the middle of surgery seeing other patients.
